| Description | PRECIMAT is a monitoring device for precision seed drills with a seed counting function. It can monitor up to 12 sowing units equipped with optical sensors. Up to 12 sowing units can be switched on and off simultaneously. Alternatively, PRECIMAT can partially or completely eliminate sowing monitoring for seed drills with more than 12 rows and control up to 18 sowing units. In addition to its typical sowing monitoring functions, PRECIMAT can also be used in other machines as a precise hectare counter with advanced features. |
| Functions | Sown corn seeds are counted via an optical sensor (infrared light gate). Each seed that passes through the working range triggers an electrical impulse that is sent to the computer. PRECIMAT monitors each row of the seeder within the programmed seed quantity. If the actual measured values deviate from the programmed values within +/- 15%, an audible and visual alarm is triggered. The display shows the number of the faulty sowing unit/row along with the current sowing quantity/ha (x1,000). Additionally, an arrow pointing to the specific sowing unit is displayed. |
| System components: | -computer (mounted in the tractor cab) enabling programming of operating values and monitoring their implementation. Acoustic and visual alarms are activated in the event of differences between the programmed and actual values. |
