This device is designed to monitor and record data on machine operation time. A vibration sensor detects the machine's operating cycle and activates the counter. After mounting the device on the machine, it must be activated by placing the included permanent magnet at the appropriate point on the counter housing. This mode protects the device's battery from unnecessary power consumption during storage and transport.
After the device is first turned on, it cannot be deactivated again. By using a machine operating condition assessment mode, the device ignores short-term vibrations (up to 3 minutes) and does not record this condition in its internal memory as an operating mode. If the machine is idle for more than 3 minutes, the Actimat stops counting, automatically enters sleep mode, and turns off. The automatic operating time counting system automatically activates when the vibration sensor detects machine vibrations lasting longer than 3 minutes. This solution ensures long-term operation without the need for battery replacement.
